About Sheikh Abu Faiz

With over 20 years of experience and a heritage rooted in a family of Imams from India, Sheikh Abu Faiz combines deep Islamic knowledge with traditional healing wisdom to guide individuals toward well-being.

Born and raised in Deccan, Hyderabad, he studied Quran and Hadith at Alamgir Masjid, where his father (Mohammed Abdul Quader served as Imam. His education includes Quranic translation, Hadith studies, and Tibb-e-Nabawi (Prophetic Medicine). His maternal grandfather, Khaja Ali Khan, was a respected herbalist, while his paternal grandfather and grand father (Yaseen Mohammed) and great-grandfather (Mohammed Abdul Quader) were also Imams—continuing a family legacy of faith and service.

Sheikh Abu Faiz further expanded his expertise by obtaining:

• Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine

• Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University

• Certification in Traditional Cupping (Hijamah) from the USA and the UK

From childhood, he has been driven by a passion for caring and healing. After higher studies, he spent two years in Saudi Arabia before moving to North America to continue serving the community.

He speaks English, Urdu, Hindi, and some Arabic.

His healing approach is rooted in the belief that there is only One Almighty God—known in Islam as Allah—the Creator, Sustainer, Protector, and Healer, described through His 99 beautiful names. Just as we seek a medical doctor when our physical health declines, Sheikh Abu Faiz emphasizes the importance of seeking an authentic spiritual healer when facing spiritual or unseen afflictions.

Healing, he teaches, is a gift from Allah and a right for all of His creation—humans, animals, birds, and even trees. While self-care and self-healing are important, a knowledgeable Raaqi works alongside the believer, providing guidance, Quranic recitation, and spiritual support, following the path shown by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and all Prophets and Messengers before him.
